Description

 This is a tutor led course for those who prefer to learn in a timely, structured, supported learning environment.   Leaners will have the opportunity to test their knowledge and understanding as the course progresses.

 The Licence Controller Qualification or LCQ is the training and assessment required before applying for a Manager's Certificate to manage licensed premises. The training is made up of two Level 4 Unit standards:

  •  Unit Standard 4646: Demonstrate knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and its implications for licensed premises.
  • Unit Standard 16705: Demonstrate knowledge of host responsibility requirements as a duty manager of licensed premises.


Learning Outcomes:

•The Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and its implications for licensed premises

• Alcohol and intoxication in licensed premises as a Duty Manager

• The responsibilities and requirements for alcohol service in licensed premises as a Duty Manager

• The maintenance of a safe drinking environment as a Duty Manager

  • 5 hours tutor led study
